Don't Deliver Us From Evil (1970)

Dir. Joel Seria
When two Catholic school students become friends in 1970s France, the girls' shared interest in "forbidden" pleasures leads them down a path of sadism and moral perversion. Initially banned for blasphemy, this controversial drama from director Joel Seria never reached U.S. theaters. Extras include an interview with British crime expert Paul Buck, who discusses the film's thematic parallels to 1994's Heavenly Creatures (helmed by Peter Jackson).
