Dir. Stephen ChowSing (Stephen Chow) is a mobster in 1940s China who longs to be as cool as the members of the Axe Gang, formally clad killers who rule the streets of Hong Kong. But he's so awkward that he can't possibly aspire to be one of them, so he does the next best thing: pretend. Unfortunately, his shenanigans land him in a barrel of trouble with everyone, including the unassuming farmers who till the land, setting off fireworks of massive proportions.
